TS government commits to filling two lakh government jobs, reduces age limit

Hyderabad - Today, at the LB Stadium, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy distributed appointment orders to the newly selected candidates of Telangana Residential Schools, marking another step towards addressing unemployment in the state. The Chief Secretary, Shanti Kumari, announced that among the recipients were 1276 post-graduate teachers, 520 librarians, and 378 physical directors.

Expressing the government's commitment to resolving unemployment issues, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy emphasized the goal of filling two lakh government jobs without any recruitment errors. He assured the unemployed youth of fulfilling all promises made by the state government, ensuring a stable Indiramma Rajyam under his leadership for the next decade.

This distribution of appointment letters follows previous initiatives, on Feb 7, 6956 staff nurses were appointed, 441 Singareni posts were awarded to deserving candidates and on Feb 14th 13,444 police constables were awarded appointment letters.

Highlighting the efforts to streamline recruitment processes, the Chief Minister underscored the removal of obstacles and legal complications, urging the youth not to lose hope and emphasizing that the government would progressively fill vacancies. He reiterated, "This government is yours - a government of the poor and the people."

In a bid to rectify delays in recruitment, the government had extended the upper age limit from 44 to 46 years. Today’s event was graced by the presence of Komatireddy VenkatReddy, Shabbir Ali and Chief Secretary Shanti Kumari.
